FAQs

Steam cleaning uses hot water extraction to deeply clean fibres and surfaces. Unlike regular vacuuming or surface wiping, it pulls out dirt, allergens, and bacteria trapped deep within carpets, upholstery, and mattresses.

We can safely clean most carpets, rugs, upholstery, curtains, mattresses, and even tiles or grout. If you’re unsure about a particular material, we’ll check it first to make sure it’s suitable.

Small items should be moved out of the way, but for heavier furniture, our team can carefully shift and place it back once the area is cleaned.

It depends on the size of the area or the number of items. A standard living room carpet usually takes 30–45 minutes, while a full house clean can take a few hours.

It depends on the size of the area or the number of items. A standard living room carpet usually takes 30–45 minutes, while a full house clean can take a few hours.

Yes. Our steam cleaning process kills dust mites, bacteria, and allergens, leaving your home healthier and fresher.

Most homes benefit from steam cleaning every 6–12 months. If you have kids, pets, or allergies, more frequent cleaning may be better.

Avoid scrubbing or using strong chemicals, as this can set the stain. Just blot gently and let us handle the rest with professional products.

Usually between 4–6 hours, depending on ventilation and weather. We recommend opening windows or turning on fans to speed it up.

Yes, we have specialised treatments for tough stains and odours, including pet accidents, mould patches, and lingering smells.

Absolutely. We regularly service offices, hotels, schools, rental properties, and other commercial spaces.

Yes, we usually have a minimum call-out fee, but if you’re booking multiple items (for example, a lounge and a few rugs), it’s very cost-effective.

General Cleaning FAQs

We dust, vacuum, mop, wipe the counters and tables, scrub the bathroom and kitchen, clean the windows and bins. The regular stuff that keeps a house looking clean.

Yeah. Baseboards, walls, inside the fridge, oven, whatever else you need. Just mention it when you book.

No. you leave us a not and we’ll do the tasks accordingly.

Two most of the time. Goes faster that way. Sometimes one if it's a small job. Depends on the total number of services you have opt for.

Call us at (02) 9158 8729 . We'll come back and fix it.

Tell us the day before and you're fine. Cancel same day and we'll charge you because we've already got someone scheduled and can't book anyone else in time.

Yeah. Background checks, training, insurance. They know what they're doing and you're covered if anything happens.

Curtain Cleaning FAQs

It depends on the curtain type. But most of the time we take them down, give a proper clean using steam, gentle shampooing or dry cleaning. Then we them back up where they actually look nice.

Sometimes. If it’s a lightweight curtain, we can manage it in place. But big, heavy, pleated, or delicate ones? They come down. We clean them offsite, then hang them back up.

Small curtains need a few hours at max. The bigger and heavier ones need a day or two. Wet curtains that aren’t dried properly are just a nightmare, so we don’t rush it.

We’ll try everything we can. Most stains and smells disappear. But if your curtains are seriously smoked out or have run dyes, it can be pretty difficult to fix.

No stress. We check the fabric and pick the safest method that won’t ruin the fabric.

100%. We stick to non-toxic stuff that won’t harm anyone. Only use stronger chemicals if you specifically ask for it.

Not at all. We can help. For really heavy or awkward ones, we take care of the removal and rehanging. You just chill.

We’ll spot it during our check. We can point you to repairs, either before or after cleaning. Fixing tears isn’t part of the clean, just so you know.

Mattress Cleaning FAQs

We steam it or use a dry method to treat the stains, get rid of any smells, and sanitise it. Whatever suits your mattress best.

Couple hours usually. Bit longer if it needs more work or the room's a bit humid. We'll let you know before we finish up.

We use special cleaners that work on those stains. Most come out quite well. Older ones that've been there a while might lighten up but not vanish completely.

Yeah, if we can manage it. If it's tricky to shift or too tight in the frame, we'll just work on it where it is.

We'll dust and vacuum those while we're there. If we need to take things apart to get at them properly, there's a small extra charge.

Once a year does the job for most folks. Go for more often, if you’ve got allergies, pets sleeping with you, or kids who wet the bed.

Rug Cleaning FAQs

We clean all types of rugs. Some get hand washed, some dry cleaned. It basically depends on the material and how it's woven.

Yes, we do both based on the suitability.

Most get a proper wash: soaked, gently scrubbed, rinsed, dried flat, then we finish the edges and fringes. Proper cleaning, not just surface clean.

Few days to a week usually. Depends how big it is, how thick, how wet it gets, and how many others we've got on.

We test a bit first to check. Wash them carefully so the dyes don't bleed into each other.

Yes, we can patch holes, fix fringes, reweave bits if needed. That's extra though.

For wall-to-wall or very large rugs, we may do an on-site cleaning (steam extraction), but offsite cleaning is usually safer and more thorough.

Strata Cleaning FAQs

Cleaning the shared bits in apartment blocks: hallways, lifts, lobbies, stairs, common rooms. Places everyone uses.

Depends what you need. Most places want us weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. We'll work out a schedule and checklist with you.

Yes. We offer a flexible scheduling. Just let us know your schedule and we’ll be there. Your comfort matters to us.

Yep, we bring everything. Unless your building wants us to use specific products they've already got.

We're insured and we put up wet floor signs, wear the right gear, all that. Keep things safe while we're working.

Sure can. We can add those on or schedule them separately whenever you need them done.

Car Seats Cleaning FAQs

We steam clean or use hot water extraction for fabric seats. For leather, we get special cleaners and conditioner to keep them soft.

Yes. We treat stains, vacuum everything up, shampoo if needed, and use deodoriser for smells.

Few hours, maybe up to six depending on the material, ventilation and weather.

We clean them in the car. Can take them out if you want but that may cost more.

We're careful around all that. Never had issues. But if something's already dodgy with your electrics, let us know beforehand.

Yes. Full interior means we do the roof, dashboard, door panels, carpets, everything.

Commercial Cleaning FAQs

Offices, shops, medical clinics, schools, warehouses, gyms, cafes, restaurants. Any business space.

Yeah. Early morning before you open, late after you shut, or weekends. We offer flexible scheduling options.

Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, toilets, bins, kitchen areas, windows from inside. We'll go through it with you so you know what's happening each visit.

Everything. Unless you want us using your products.

Whatever you need. Every night, couple times a week, once a week. Depends how much foot traffic you get.

We do checks, run through checklists. And you can tell us if something's not up to scratch.

Our people know how to handle chemicals, wear the right protection, deal with blood or spills safely. We follow the rules for workplaces.

Fabric Couch Cleaning FAQs

Depends what it's made of, really. Usually we'll steam clean it or go with a method that doesn't soak it through. We use stuff that won't wreck the fabric, tackle whatever stains are there, and finish with a deodoriser so it stops smelling like last week's pizza.

It can if someone chucks too much water at it or doesn't dry it properly. Our experienced cleaners have done this enough times to know better. They use the right amount of moisture and make sure it dries evenly so you don't end up with a shrunken seat or dodgy waterlines across it.

Reckon about 4 to 8 hours. Bit longer if the weather's damp or we've had to give it a proper deep clean.

Yes, we take the cushions off and hoover underneath. Everything gets turned over and sorted so the whole sofa feels brand new.

We'll have a crack at it. Fresh ones usually come out no problem. Old stains that've been sitting there for ages? We might only get them lighter, not gone completely. Depends what it is and how long it's been there.

Yes, we've got sprays and treatments that sort all that out. Gets rid of the smell properly instead of just masking it, and kills off dust mites and allergens too. Makes a real difference if anyone's got allergies or if pets have been all over it.

Leather Couch Cleaning FAQs

We use proper cleaners designed specifically for leather. After that goes a conditioner to keep it supple.

No, we don’t do touch-ups or repairs.

An hour, maybe two at max. Just needs time for the conditioner to soak in. Way faster than waiting for a fabric sofa to dry.

No. Different leathers need different treatment. We'll have a look at your leather type, then clean it properly using our specialised cleaners and proven techniques.

We can have a go at most of them and a lot do come out or fade down. But some stains soak right into the leather or react with it, so they might not shift completely. Ink's usually the tricky one.

Yeah, if you want. We can come back every so often to condition it and keep it protected. Stops it ageing badly and keeps it looking decent for longer.

Upholstery Cleaning FAQs

Sofas, chairs, armchairs, ottomans, car seats, fabric headboards, dining chairs. Basically anything with fabric on it.

Whatever works best for your furniture. Sometimes it's steam, sometimes it's a dry method if the fabric can't take much water. We look at the care label and the mess, then decide from there.

Depends on what the fabric is, how much airflow you've got, and how wet it needed to get. Usually, it’s between 2-8 hours.

Yes. If the covers come off, we'll wash them separately. Cushions get cleaned properly on all sides, thoroughly and properly.

Every time. We try it on a bit you can't see first to make sure the colour won't run or fade.

Yes. Fresh stains usually comes out easily. Old stains that've been sitting there for months might only go lighter.

Small stuff we'll shift ourselves. Big heavy wardrobes or sofas? We'll work around them or need you to help us move them.

Yeah. After cleaning we can put a spray on that helps stop spills soaking straight in. Makes life easier next time someone knocks a drink over.

Carpet Repair & Re-stretching FAQs

Carper re-stretching is pulling the carpet tight to flatten out wrinkles and bumps. Carpets go loose from people walking on them, changes in temperature, or sometimes they weren't fitted right to start with. Those lumps are easy to trip on and the carpet wears through quicker where it folds. Stretching it fixes that.

Most fitted ones, yeah. Really thick underlay or glued seams can be a problem. Small rugs we can't do anything with. We'll come look and tell you straight if it's doable.

Yes. We cut out the bad bit and patch it with matching carpet. Works well if you've kept some offcuts from when it was laid. If not, we will find a suitable replacement.

One room's a few hours. More rooms or complicated layouts take longer. Depends what we're dealing with.

Not much. We don't use loads of it and when we do it's low-smell stuff.

Light things we'll shift. Heavy stuff stays put and we work round it. Move things yourself beforehand if you want.

When you first see ripples. Leave it and they get worse, carpet gets ruined where it keeps folding over itself.
